Concept
After several rounds of discussions, we made the decision to develop a simple organic logotype that, when wrapped around in a circle, could also serve as a badge resembling the spore prints of certain mushroom families. The next logical step was to create an entire alphabet, and from that point on, the entire brand began to naturally unfold.
Motion
When it came to motion, I discovered that three distinct strategies worked exceptionally well. Firstly, morphing the letterforms was an obvious choice right from the early concept of the logotype, as metamorphosis and the flow of nature served as key metaphors for Popleisa right from the beginning. Secondly, employing straightforward continuous movements with various parameters on different layers emphasized the brand's craftiness and down-to-earth vibe. Lastly, by utilizing various glitch art techniques, I was able to further accentuate the organic nature of the products.
Apparel
As the last part of the project, the following t-shirt designs were the outcomes of further exploration into fractal art and glitch art, aimed at capturing the essence of Popleisa's passion for the woods and nature itself. Working on them was a truly mesmerizing experience, and a joyful last note for my time with this brand for now.
